Registered therapeutic method · Foundation for SGT® since 1999

About

A foundation, an association, and a published frame.

We are a registered non-profit foundation. Our institutional structure exists to protect the integrity of the method, the safety of participants, and the standards of certification.

Foundation

FSGT — Foundation for Sexual Grounding Therapy

The trademark holder and standards body. The Foundation publishes the certification path, the code of ethics, the safeguarding policy, and the official directory.

Association

ASGTT — Association of SGT Therapists & Trainers

A peer association of certified practitioners. ASGTT runs supervision circles, organises continued professional development, and channels feedback into the Foundation.

History

Three decades of clinical refinement

From the early 1990s in the Netherlands to twelve countries today. The method has been refined through several generations of trainers without losing its developmental clarity.

Lineage

Freud, Reich, Jung — and the body

Developmental, somatic, and lifespan-oriented. Our practice is contemporary body-psychotherapy, grounded in clinical traditions that have stood the test of a century.

Safeguarding

Our published commitments to participant safety.

Code of ethics

Every therapist and trainer has signed the FSGT code of ethics. Available as a public PDF.
